All people ages 6 months and older are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have authorized and recommended Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 6 months up to 6 years and Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 6 months up to 5 years. We expect these vaccines will be available in Rhode Island the week of June 27. Please speak with your healthcare provider about whether they are providing COVID-19 vaccines for these age groups.
